I was called to the counselor's office in high school because I wrote a children's book for a health class assignment that was "inappropriate". An anthropomorphic carrot, Clarence the Carrot, befriends a fat kid and helps him make healthy choices and eat fruits and vegetables instead of fried food and candy. For most of the book the kid loses weight and leads a healthier lifestyle and at the end the kid says wow Clarence, you're my hero! But then he asks "why can't all the other vegetables talk like you can?", but in a full-page zoom into this cartoon carrot's smiling orange face - Clarence murdered them all and used the kid to get rid of the bodies. The last panel is the kid vomiting.
The counselor said she thought it was a bit silly to call me in but told me "I am legally required to ask if you are okay."
